The following projects were done for Smart Systems Ltd. in employed status.

Atmel Mega128, MS SQLServer, PCAD, ImageCraft C, Delphi

Development of centralized automation system for signalization, access control (turnstile, lock box) and time-sheet management: network of reader controllers for iButton/Proximity cards based on Atmel Mega128 micro-controller, which works in real-time mode with computer personnel database. The micro-controller software provides simultaneous polling of up to 8 readers with one controller, control of up to 8 turnstiles / lock boxes and monitoring of up to 8 sensors. The communication with the remote computer is via RS-485 network. The computer software receives card codes from the readers in real time, checks the access rights in the personnel database (MS SQLServer) and sends the command to open door/turnstile. The work included designing diagrams and printed-circuit boards (PCAD), micro-controller software (ImageCraft C) and PC software (Delphi).
